Today begins my first time blogging. As I begin this journey I am writing to an audience of One, but feel free to eavesdrop in on our conversation.
I have been journaling my family's adventure across the country from our comfortable life in NE to the unknown in MA. The journey was eventful to say the least, but we have been here for a little over two weeks now and things are settling down quite nicely. I have now decided to experiment with journaling this way, we shall see how it goes.
Grace had her third skating practice today, she is doing very well, super determined and always a smile on her face. She falls and gets up real fast and continues on. It's so fun to watch her, I am very proud of her!
Brayden fell asleep in the car and I decided to explore the roads a bit more well he slept. I headed to the ocean. We found the ocean in Manchester, it was beautiful!
Ruthie sent us home via the hwy and i decided to find another way and kept going straight instead of turning off to head south on hwy 128. Well the road took a very drastic turn from paved and frequently travelled to gravel and big potholes, one man walking and many warning signs not to enter the woods on the one side of the road. I started to freak out a bit. Then I past a gun and sheet shooting range on the other side of the road. Ruthie said if i kept going straight I would get home. So I prayed as I was quite nervous, and acted strong and brave as Grace was nervous in the back seat as well. Gabby was having a blast at how bumpy the road was. Eventually we started seeing houses and mailboxes and then a few vehicles and the road started to appear more traveled. The area is probably very beautiful in the summer as there were lakes and trails. Needless to say I was very thankful for Ruthie to get me home and reassure me I could get home down that road. Lord thank you for the beauty we saw today! I am continually in awe of the scenery of New England.
Way to be a blogger! That's one train I haven't convinced myself that I need to jump on. But I DO like reading them :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job sweetie, we love reading what you write. Doing it this way is probably easier than the way I did it from Africa. Keep it coming!
