I apologize for the lack of blogging these last few months. There are many changes to come for the Abbott family as we start the transition from seminary life back to the real world. We are getting ready to make a trek via train back to 'the good life' (for those of you not familiar, that is Nebraska's slogan)
We could use your prayers and we make the 36+ hour journey by train from Boston to Lincoln. When asked why in our right mind would we travel with three children by train, first we say is that we are crazy...teehee, actually we are rather excited for the experience, we may pull our hair out in the process but hey if its awful we won't do it again :) (we will be flying back)
I have recently scaled back on the hours at one of my part time jobs and praying the Lord will provide the hours needed at my other prn nursing job. With school schedule for the kiddos and Brian's class/study schedule the flexibly in a prn ( as needed) job is what is needed most.
Grace and Gabby are both loving school. Brayden is loving train time and drawing time with mom or dad while the girls are at school. Since the weather has gotten nicer we have headed out side alot and enjoyed many of the outdoors 'hot spots' in the area.
Brian is working hard at his studies and enjoying all that he is learning. I have also been learning a ton through a class I am auditing this semester. It has opened my eyes to so many new and exciting this regarding the New Testament and given me an appreciation for all Brian is required to complete in one semester.
Until next time...
