To New Beginnings: School Time

And again from the archives come the first day of school...enjoy!

Sept marked the first day of kindergarten for Grace and nursery school for Gabby. Alarms were set and we had two very excited girls going to bed the night before. We read books about the first day of Kindergarten and the first day of Preschool. Mommy was close to tears as soon as I woke up. We scurry out the door, Grace is the first to be picked up by at the bus stop, which is conviently located across from the preschool that Gabby is going to. We are waiting nervously at the bus stop with many other kiddos and parents, its the one bus stop for all of the children on campus. The older children had been in school for a few days already. I am close to tears as the bus pulls up, trying to keep my composure for my 5 year old getting on the bus, she gets to the bus and looks back and blows daddy a kiss....I loose it...tears are a flowing and I am hiding behind daddy so she can't see me :) we are snapping many pictures. I regain myself and we go to drop our next child off at her first day, this was way easier for many reasons, the main being we walk her into class sign her in and see what she is doing. The eldest, I watch her get on her bus and that's it...I don't know for sure that she made it :) or what happens when she gets to school. Oh one minor detail, it's raining and raining pretty hard...so were my eyes :)

We get home and I go to look at the pictures...nothing, nothing ,nothing, we forgot to put the disc back in to the camera...so disappionting I could have cried:)
